1. prostrate- to cast (oneself) face down on the ground in humility, submission, or adoration; to reduce to physical weakness or exhaustion; to throw down level with the ground

2. interlude- any intermediate performance or entertainment, as between the acts of a play; an intervening episode, period, space, etc.; An intervening episode, feature, or period of time

14. interminable- incapable of being terminated, unending; monotonously or annoyingly protracted or continued, unceasing, incessant; having no limits
